Nyy N2xy Cable 1*300 copper conductor power cable is a single-core large-section cable, adopting a three-layer structure (Cu/XLPE/PVC) of copper (Cu) conductor, XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation and PVC (polyvinyl chloride) sheath. With a conductor cross-sectional area of 300mm², it is suitable for medium and low-voltage power transmission scenarios. Relying on high current-carrying capacity, heat resistance stability and reliable mechanical protection, it is widely used in industrial plants, large buildings, energy facilities and other fields that require large-capacity power transmission.​ In terms of structure, the core of the cable is a high-purity copper conductor with a purity of not less than 99.95%. It is made by multi-strand fine stranding process, which not only ensures excellent conductivity (conductivity ≥58MS/m) but also improves the flexibility of the cable, making it easy to lay in complex terrain or narrow spaces. The outer layer of the conductor is wrapped with an XLPE insulation layer, which forms a three-dimensional network molecular structure through chemical or radiation cross-linking. This enables it to have a long-term allowable operating temperature of up to 90°C and can withstand 250°C in short-circuit conditions (within 5 seconds), effectively avoiding the softening or aging of traditional polyethylene insulation at high temperatures, and significantly extending the service life of the cable. Outside the XLPE insulation layer is a PVC sheath, which is added with flame retardants, antioxidants and UV stabilizers. It has excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance and UV resistance, and can resist mechanical impact, moisture, chemicals and direct sunlight erosion, providing solid protection for the internal structure.​ In terms of performance parameters, the rated voltage of the cable is usually 0.6/1kV (can be customized according to requirements), suitable for AC 50Hz/60Hz power systems. The large cross-sectional conductor of 300mm² endows it with extremely high current-carrying capacity: when laid in air, the current-carrying capacity is about 450-500A; when directly buried in soil, it is about 400-450A, which can meet the power needs of large motors, transformers, central air conditioners and other heavy-duty equipment. In addition, the flame retardancy and weather resistance of its PVC sheath enable it to operate stably in humid, dusty or outdoor environments, such as underground garages and open-air substations.​ In terms of installation and maintenance, the cable can be laid by bridge laying, pipe laying or direct burial. During installation, special tools should be used to avoid excessive bending or extrusion to prevent damage to the insulation layer and sheath. Terminal connections need to be equipped with copper joints matching 300mm² conductors, which are fixed by crimping or bolts to ensure good conductivity, and sealed to prevent moisture intrusion. After laying, insulation resistance testing and voltage withstand testing (applying 2.5 times the rated voltage for 5 minutes without breakdown) must be carried out to verify that the cable performance meets the standards.
