This abstract focuses on the E-Yy-J series of copper core polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulated power cables suitable for the Qatar region, with emphasis on four specifications: 4X16, 4X25, 4X35, and 4X50. This series of cables features high-purity copper as the conductor core and PVC material as the insulating layer, combining excellent electrical conductivity with effective insulation protection. They are widely used in industrial, commercial, and civil power transmission systems in Qatar. In terms of specifications, "4X" indicates that the cable consists of 4 conductors, and the subsequent numbers (16, 25, 35, 50) represent the cross-sectional area of a single conductor (in square millimeters). The difference in cross-sectional area directly determines the current-carrying capacity of the cable—the larger the value, the higher the maximum current allowed, making it suitable for higher-power electrical equipment or longer-distance power transmission.
